Every time we contribute our work to the world, a permanent, often public record of it is created. It cannot be changed or deleted. Time may progress, and we may come out with something improved, something better that we want to replace it with, but the fact is that our original output cannot be deleted from the world.
Likewise, anything we say to another individual is out permanently. Although we may try to say something to improve or clarify the original statement we made, the listener is already affected and influenced by the first statement. Anything new you say will not make that person forget your original words.
Before you say anything to anyone, think about the everlasting impact of your statement. Remember that it can never be taken back by you or forgotten by the listener. Practice speaking clearly so that the meaning of your statement is preserved and it cannot be easily misinterpreted.
Always speak kind words in a gentle tone. Be thoughtful about what you say and how you say it. Your feelings, mood, and state of mind will change, and you may no longer mean what you say. But once it has been said, it is out in the universe forever.
You have the power to use your words to make a difference in this world. You have the ability to release kindness and positivity on earth. Build your kind communication skills by practicing how to form your statements with compassion for the listener. Use your words to make a positive impact on lives of the people around you, and you will be doing your part in making this world a better place.
