When it comes to tea parties, the pretty little details are everything. Below, you’ll find all of the embellishments and decorative items we will be using for the Mother’s Day tea party.

Doilies are the loveliest part of tea parties! You will need lots of dainty, paper doilies to decorate your tea table with. I got French lace paper doilies from PrettieParties. You can get various sizes in colors that fit your theme. Our tea sets are very colorful so I decided to go with white lace doilies in order to add a touch of elegance to the table. I will be placing 4” doilies under cupcakes, and 8” doilies under every teacup and saucer.

Gift tags can be used in many ways. You can attach them to invitations, party favors, or use them as table cards. Luna Gift Tags offers a great selection of pretty gift tags. I got plenty of tea party themed tags. They have scalloped edges, embossed borders, and come with coordinating ribbon. I plan to hang them from teapots to indicate what type of tea is in each teapot.

Ribbon can add color and charm to anything! I got a lovely assortment of the ribbon from TheGildedBee. You can get pretty pom pom ribbons, gorgeous garland trims, and luxurious novelty embellishments. The colors look like yummy treats which is why I decided to store it in the candy box. I will be using these on party favors, Mother’s Day cards, and on presents. I will tie some of them on tier servers to add some whimsy to the tea table.
